About Us

Ours is not about a building or even the years behind us. It is about the faithfulness of God.

For generations, God has been drawing ordinary people to Himself, changing lives through His grace, and reminding us that His work is never finished. Highland Hills is simply one place where that story continues.

Highland Hills Seventh-day Adventist Church is a church family in San Antonio seeking to know Jesus Christ more deeply through His Word, worship Him wholeheartedly, and reflect His love in the way we live and serve. Like every church, we are made up of people. There are seasons of celebration, seasons of sorrow, and seasons when we simply pause together, pray, and ask God to lead the next step. Through every season, our desire remains the same: to follow Christ faithfully.

Here, God’s Word is opened with reverence. Children are known by name and encouraged as they grow in faith. Friendships are formed across generations, prayers are shared openly, and no one is expected to walk through life alone. We are continually learning from one another, encouraging one another, and pointing one another to Jesus.

Being part of Highland Hills is not about having everything figured out. It is about walking together while God continues His work in each of us. We rejoice together, we grieve together, we pray together, and we celebrate the countless ways God’s grace continues to shape our lives. We are grateful for where He has brought us, and we trust Him to lead us where He is calling us next.

The Bible continues to guide and challenge us. As we study Scripture together, we seek God’s wisdom, trusting Him to lead our decisions, strengthen our faith, and shape our lives.

The Church is the body of Christ, and none of us walks this journey alone. Together we celebrate God’s blessings, carry one another through difficult seasons, and seek His direction through prayer and His Word. We don’t claim to have all the answers, but we trust the One who does.

Faith is a lifelong journey. None of us has arrived, and we are grateful that God continues to teach, correct, encourage, and transform us each day.

The love of Christ moves us beyond the walls of our church. We seek opportunities to serve our neighbors, care for those in need, and share God’s love through both our words and our actions.

Everything we have is a gift from God. We desire to faithfully use our time, talents, resources, and opportunities in ways that honor Him and bless others.
